Earlier today, the Barangay Tejero Council convened for its First Barangay General Assembly for the year 2026, carrying the theme, “Nagkakaisang Barangay Tungo sa Kalinisan, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran.”
The assembly served as a venue for barangay officials and constituents to discuss important concerns, including social services, peace and order, public safety, disaster risk reduction and management, environmental management, and economic development. Updates on ongoing and upcoming barangay activities and projects were also presented.
In line with the constitutional mandate that “public office is a public trust,” the assembly also discussed the utilization of barangay funds and how these will continue to serve the needs and welfare of the community.
